Serif is a hosted CMS solution, we deal with all of the servers and you don't have to pay any extra for it. You can get Serif for less than the price of some hosting packages.

You create a designers account with us and give us some details, after that you can create as many customer accounts as you want for your clients. The first month is free so that you have an opportunity to show your work to clients. Because of the way that our software works they should already have a very good idea anyway, but more about that later.

After the first month we bill you for the client account and you charge them whatever you think is appropriate. It's all white label so they don't need to know that you are reselling it.

How it works

The workflow goes something like this:

Your brilliant marketing strategy leads to hundreds of clients beating down your door and demanding your services.

After meeting with the clients you create a graphical version of the design that is both admired by other designers and sympathetic to the client's brand. Awards will surely follow.

You create all of the html for the site, most of the it is your own, some you cut and paste in from our examples. These bits are wrapped in some xml that the browser will ignore. The layout can be tested for browser compatibility, locally and quickly. Clients can approve something that looks like a real site, in a browser.

Once a client account is created in Serif the template can be uploaded as a zip. Once templates are up it's just a matter of creating pages with the appropriate skin. Building the site is all managed with the site map, adding pages is simple. You invoice the clients and they pay you in a timely manner for a job well done.
